VI Package Version Number

The VI Package Version Number area allows you to set the version number of the VI Package.  In order to manually set the version number, you will need to uncheck the Auto Increment Version checkbox.  When Auto

Major: The major version number of your VI Package – increment this when there is a major change to your package.

Minor: The major version number of your VI Package – increment this when there is a minor change to your package.

Fix: The fix (or “bug fix”) version number – increment this when you fix a bug in your software or make some other very small change.  This number will be auto incremented after each build, when Auto Increment Version is checked.

Auto Increment Version: causes the Fix field to be automatically incremented after a build.
