The Repository License Pack Activation dialog allows you to activate a license pack you have purchased through JKI. A License pack allows a certain number of VIPM clients to connect to your repository.
This dialog can be accessed by clicking the Add License Pack button from the Repository Client Authorization Dialog. It can also be accessed by double-clicking the Client License Pack entry in the License pack list on that same dialog.
Note: It’s important to first make sure you have defined your repository URL in the Repository Properties Dialog before adding and activating License packs to your repository. If you change your repository URL you must re-activate your repository Licenses by contacting JKI to get new activation codes.

The following items are available on this dialog:
Repository ID: This is the ID for your repository. This is automatically generated by the repository manager and cannot be changed. Note that your repository ID is keyed off of your repository URL. Changing your repository URL will change the Repository ID and invalidate any existing License pack activations.
Name: This is your name, not the repository name.
Company: This is your company name.
License Pack Serial Number: This number was given to you when you purchased VIPM Enterprise Edition.
License Pack Activation Code: This code will be the one that was given to you by JKI when you requested an activation code. If you don’t have an activation code, you can request one from JKI. Make sure to provide us with your Repository ID, Name and License Pack Serial Number. However, the easiest way to request an activation code, is to click on the link shown in the image above (online internet connection required).
